About Kiara

Kiara Rodrigues brings diversity to the Australian Country Music scene. Born to immigrant parents of Indian heritage, Kiara fell in love with country music when she moved to North Queensland at nine years old and has since emerged as one of the industry's rising stars. In 2023, Kiara was named a Toyota Star Maker Grand Finalist where her impressive performance wowed a crowd of 10 000 at the Tamworth Country Music Festival. This year brings ongoing success for Kiara as her latest single “Message in a Bottle” (Produced by Nash Chambers) continues to climb the charts across Australia. A speech pathologist by day, Kiara has an innate ability to write clever and catchy songs that often come with their own twist. In 2022 her tongue-in-cheek song “High School Reunion” debuted at #2 on the iTunes charts and entered the CountryTown Hot 50. In 2019, she was recognised as a 5 X semi-finalist in the Tamworth Songwriters Association awards, and her song “Mr Vanity”, earned her Comedy/Novelty song of the year. With appearances on Channel Ten’s ‘Young Talent Time’ and ‘The X Factor’, Kiara is no stranger to the stage. Her 18-year career in country music has seen her achieve the title of Triple World Champion (Country, Gospel, Rock) at the ‘ World Championships of Performing Arts’ in Hollywood, Junior Aristocrat Country Entertainer of the Year and the 2013 ‘Voice of Urban’. Additional career highlights include singing at the world famous ‘Tootsies’ in Nashville, singing the National Anthem at Broncos vs. Cowboys NRL games, and graduating from the CMAA Senior Academy of Country Music. With drive, determination and talent to match, Kiara Rodrigues is a force to be reckoned with.
